How to register your nomination
Nominations are open to anyone currently employed at an Australian university with a working university email address. Each address is allowed one nomination.
The ranking system
TheBestUni.com.au’s ranking system finds the average score for each university across a range of categories; category scores determine the overall ranking.
The categories are as follows:
(OD) ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The university’s dedication to achieving goals over long time spans
(WH) WORK HOURS
How flexible the university is in regards to staff work hours
(P) PERSONAL
How well the university communicates and relates to you as an employee
(EB) EMPLOYEE BENFITS
The volume and value of the benefits given to staff by the university
(HB) HEALTH & WELL-BEING
How effective the university is at encouraging professional and personal development
(SS) SELF SATISFACTION
How far reaching happiness extends on a departmental level
(TD) TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
A gauge of the training and development made available to staff ad effectiveness of such programs
(MD) MULTICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
The level of involvement a university takes in relation to cross cultural development programs and events
(OM) OVERALL MANAGEMENT
Staff attitudes towards the overall management style of the university on a campus level
(OS) OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY
How in tune the university is with standardised safety regulations, how they enact them, and how well the university teaches staff about OH & S issues
(D) DISABILITY
The overall level of consideration your university has to those with a disability in its workplace
